If you are experiencing issues with cash drawers not opening for some tender types, or not working at all.

First check the Windows Registry and make sure the devices are recorded there correctly.

Next open the WindwardPOS.INI file in notepad and confirm the settings look correct there .

These settings should exactly match the Windows Registry Keys

If the issue still hasn't been resolved, close the POS Device Manager, rename the WindwardPOS.INI file in all System Five folders (including any training, demo and backup folders) as well as the folder where the active POS Device Manager is running from.
Now restart the POS Device Manager and re-configure all settings.

This will create a new WindwardPOS.INI file and should resolve the issue.
