This is the programming sheet for the Zebra Li7248 to be used for a very specific scenario.

This programming sheet shouldn't be used to program this scanner for any other circumstance.

The following steps are used only in the following scenario:

- You only want UPC-A  barcodes to scan without the leading UPCA Preamble and without the trailing Check Digit. This essentially would turn a standard 12 digit barcode into a 10 digit.
612345678910  would become  1234567891

-You want to enable Interleaved 2 of 5 barcodes for Case Barcodes used in various warehousing industries.

You will need to set the scanner back to it's factory defaults first to remove any previous programming.

1)  Scan the Set All Defaults barcode

To program the scanner to accept both a prefix and suffix

2) Scan the Scan Options barcode

3) Scan the <Prefix><Data><Suffix> barcode and then scan the Enter barcode.

4) Scan the Scan Prefix barcode

5) Scan the Barcodes in the order of 1002

6) REMOVE CHECK DIGIT ON UPC BARCODES

7) REMOVE FIRST NUMBER FOR UPC BARCODES

8) ALLOWS FOR CASE BARCODES TO BE SCANNED

If you make an error, scan the Cancel Barcode.

If required, restore to System Defaults by scanning this barcode.
