No FTP Setup

In some environments, the end-user doesn't have an FTP, and they are only Synchronizing/Updating the WEAR laptops when they are back in the office.

In this scenario, the WEAR Monitor (S5Poll.exe) can be set to synch across a mapped drive.
To do this, create a WEAR folder within the Windward\System5 folder on the server.

Within that folder create a folder for each location.
Location1 is always the Main or Head Office.
Location2, 3, and 4 would be named WEAR2, WEAR3, and WEAR4.

In S5Poll, leave the FTP information blank but in the FTP Folder field type the path to the location's folder.
For Location 1, its folder would be C:\Windward\SYSTEM5\WEAR\Main

on Server ID 1, all the locations would connect to the WEAR folders on C:\Windward\System5\WEAR
Location 2 would be C:\Windward\System5\WEAR\WEAR2
Location 3 would be C:\Windward\System5\WEAR\WEAR3
Location 4 would be C:\Windward\System5\WEAR\WEAR4
This is because the server is writing data to those folders locally when it synchronizes.

On each Workstation, the folders aren't local. They are on the mapped drive (usually W:) So on Server ID 2, all the locations are as follows:
Location 1 is W:\System5\Main
Location 2 is W:\System5\WEAR2
Location 3 is W:\System5\WEAR3
Location 4 is W:\System5\WEAR4

On Server ID 3, all the locations are as follows:
Location 1 is W:\System5\Main
Location 2 is W:\System5\WEAR2
Location 3 is W:\System5\WEAR3
Location 4 is W:\System5\WEAR4

And so on.
