Overview

Mapping a drive means that you’re going to make a specific drive available to other users connected to a common network. This often takes place in on-premise networking and is typically performed once by a network administrator.

Loss of a network drive will result in loss of access to System Five. Users are not able to log in. Mapped drives that go 'missing' can be a sign of a larger network issue and you should contact an IT professional.  Mapping network drives, as well as troubleshooting network drives, are network-related activities and beyond the scope of Windward Software support.  Troubleshooting disconnected drives needs to be performed by your Network Administrator.
